Latest BT Ad

You know the one. People prepare for snow. Then it snows. The line is that things would be much easier if you knew when to expect things, and so if a BT engineer makes an appointment with you, he or she will do everything they can in order to keep it.

WELL I SHOULD DAMN WELL HOPE SO!

When did we get to a situation where BT think that a major promise should be that they will try and turn up on time if they make an appointment with you? One that they centre an entire campaign round?

What's next? "Wouldn't it be great if you could always make a phone call? That's why, at BT, we'll attempt to provide you with a working phone service 24/7/365. No promises, but we're doing our best!"
