Place Of The Day

The first, and probably last, of a new feature here at McReadie Nuggets. It's Place of the Day.

Today's Place of the Day is Lachenaie, Quebec, Canada. It's been chosen because Talie, our most recent (and most appreciative) winner in the Gmail Giveaway hails from there.

Lachenaie is situated about 35 kilometres to the North East of Montréal. It's an old town, having originally been settled back in the seventeenth century.

So there you go: Lachenaie in Quebec is our first Place of the Day.

Want your town to be Place of the Day? E-mail me. If anyone bothers to write, I might actually run this feature again.

I want my home town of Kenilworth to be place of the day!! It does have a whole book written about it, after all. And a cool ruined castle. And lots of proper old pubs. And my dad still lives there.

Well, you know how I hate to disappoint my adoring public (ba ha ha) - so consider it done, Fizzwhizz :)
