    Perhaps you should go here

I've heard they are very good - worth a try even for a back up pair?

I had my eyes tested a few weeks back and I'm glad my eyes are ok. I have a slight need for reading specs but I told the optician I'll only have glasses when I need them all the time otherwise I just wouldn't use them.

I thought the generally accepted adhesive for mending glasses was Elastoplast?

You're right, Fizzwhizz, I believe Elastoplast or sellotape is typically the way to go. But I decided I looked geeky enough without the need for obviously self-repaired glasses, so I went for the "subtle" Cling-Film-Repair method :)

Thanks for the site, Bernard. I'll take a look (with my Wonky-Cling-Film Repaired Glasses!)
